IncontiLase®
IncontiLase® - A minimally invasive solution for mild and moderate Stress Urinary Incontinence.
What is Stress Urinary Incontinence?
Almost 1 in 2 women will experience stress urinary incontinence (SUI) at some point in their lives but about 15% will experience it on a more regular basis and up to 10% more women will suffer a mixture of SUI and urge urinary incontinence. To date the main treatments available for SUI were physiotherapy and pelvic floor muscle exercises, or surgery.
IncontiLase is an innovative non-invasive laser therapy for SUI. This treatment uses non-ablative photothermal laser to work on both the deep connective tissue layers and the vaginal mucosa in order to cause an increase in connective tissue remodelling along the urethral support ligaments, anterior vaginal wall and at the urethral opening, leading to tightening and shrinking of the urethral continence supports.
IncontilLase is a non-surgical virtually painless procedure. No special preparation or post-care is needed. Recovery is very quick without the need for pain relievers or antibiotics and you will be able to return to your normal activities immediately after the treatment which takes 15 to 20 minutes and is performed in an outpatient clinic. Clinical trials have shown this treatment to be highly effective in treating mild to moderate SUI with high patient satisfaction.

How does IncontiLase work?
What can I expect?
IncontiLase treatments are simple and quick. No anaesthesia is required, you walk in and walk out and there are no complications or incisions. The procedure is incisionless and painless, with no cutting, bleeding, or downtime. A special handpiece, similar to a speculum as used during a Pap test, is inserted into the vagina. The vaginal region is then treated with subablative laser pulses. No special pre-op preparations or post-op precautions are necessary. You can immediately return to normal everyday activities after the treatment, which takes 15 to 20 minutes and is performed in an outpatient clinic. Your treatment is provided by a sensitive and highly qualified specialist.
